A bold and significant acquisition of brands from Premier Foods by Boyne Valley Group propelled the family owned business to the number two ambient food producer in Ireland with scope to scale an export business.
Born was invited to start with a blank canvas and lead the Board in developing and embedding a marketing and innovation strategy for the business to maximise and accelerate ROI from this acquisition.
Internal engagement was the most critical success factor in ensuring a new culture of consumer first was embedded within the organisation. Co-creation and consultation was at the heart of this project.
The brand portfolio strategy drove double-digit value growth for core brands. A three-year innovation pipeline across over twenty product categories helped to future proof the business.
